it’s hard to believe it has been seven years since i first posted this townhouse project by eliding & oscarson architects. seven years have been passed by and it is still my all time favorite. i just want to copy everything for my future home (somewhere, someday). it really worth another shout-out after seven years. check it out here.

i can never resist the combination of gray, marble and gold (brass), and this apartment for sale from stockholm proved that you really can’t go wrong with these three elements.

a vintage-inspired interior from fantastic frank for our sunday inspiration. couple interesting details in this apartment : hexagonal marble tile for kitchen countertop; painted black wood floor; file cabinet as bed side table (remember i was just talking about the use of file cabinet in this post?).
the old wood shelving, mismatched vintage porcelain diningware and patterned fabric makes a beautiful wabi-sabi home.

that couch by the big window no doubt would be my favorite spot in this lovely apartment. whether it is a sunny or rainy day, me and my macbook, plus a cup of hot tea… simple happiness.

being fascinated by renderings might sound kind of silly, as renderings these days are so over saturated in almost every real estates sale campaign. so why bother? the interior stills always seem too perfect to be real, and to glossy to be touched.
yes, i was a bit hesitated to share these images. but after a second thought… hey, these renderings actually do have a taste of style and the texture, the warmth of natural sunlight, and even the breeze outside the window is somehow convincing.
