talking about fancy and minimal luxury. this property from stockholm seems has the best neighbors including tous les jours, dr. mat and superfront(!).

the light wood floor and charcoal gray/gray tone makes a elegant and sophisticated style that is classic and chic. i know, i am just using all the flattering words. and yes, i can move in here without changing anything.

leather details accentuated the medium gray cabinets and added a right amount of warmness to this marble-gray combination. oh wait, did i see the marble countertop and back splash?

the charcoal gray hex floor tile and glass shower panel. and more marble counter top for the laundry set. no, we will never get tired of having marble counter top.

founded by brian faherty in 2003 following his discovery of a long-lost collection of cast-iron glass shade moulds in an abandoned warehouse, schoolhouse has every ingredients the creative makers believe in: the preservation of american manufacturing, thoughtful living and purposeful design.

+isaac pendant+

i’ve been eyeing this issac pendant for a while. the minimal look of scandinavian-meets-vintage would be perfect for our second floor hallway. the isaac pendant is part of the Schoolhouse Electric Original, handcrafted in the portland factory.

+brass hardware+

they also have the solid brass cabinet knobs & drawer pulls handcrafted in the USA from 95% recycled brass. simply beautiful.

you all michitecture readers know the marble countertop has been a long time favorite here. to celebrate my return to the blogsphere (3 weeks doesn’t seem that long ago!), what else can be better as the kick-off post? a cozy & modern apartment with marble countertop.

the marble countertop with dark lower cabinets & white upper cabinets makes a elegant contrast in the kitchen scene. not to mention the very minimal gold hardware detail is totally wining my heart.
