for these who live in united states… happy thanksgiving! j and i are not traveling this year, which means no crazy highway traffic and no starbucks stop…yay! and we don’t have any plan for friendsgiving as well, just relaxing time for two of us with yummy food marathon from brunch to dinner to late night dessert, plus some netflix binge =)
gold foil just makes everything seem more cheerful and it makes a ordinary world map glamorous. recently i’ve been kind of obsessed about posters & stationary with gold foil… don’t be too surprised if you receive greeting card from me and there is gold foil on it.

… after browsing several images from site to site i feel a need to put on my ray ban.
we definitely are having a much colder winter in philly this year. it is the first time i really want a parka (with hood) or, a knit hat to keep my head warm.
we’re taking couple days off to visit j’s parents in maryland. i can’t wait to be surrounded by natural landscape ( trees, open field, woodland…) and much more fresh air…
wherever you are, have a safe & healthy holiday season !

i heard people said using artificial wreath is actually more sustainable than getting fresh ones as you can re-use the artificial ones years after years after years. well, i don’t have enough solid facts to against the statement but I JUST CANNOT DO THIS. i would rather not hanging anything. no artificial wreath please.
and don’t you agree it looks so much more fun to make your own wreath? imagine the nice scent from the fresh cut fir? i found this lovely wreath DIY on designlovefest and it really inspired me to rethink about the holiday wreath. the very talented florist kristen from moon canyon design showed us how to make your own beautiful & unique wreath- like a mini forest. i love how different texture & shape of greens mixed in a perfect asymmetrical arrangement… simply chic.

actually her birthday WAS on the 13th, and the card didn’t get mailed until two days passed her birthday (oops). since the card is on its way to taiwan right the moment, i figure this post shouldn’t spoil her surprise. ( which i am also hoping she won’t check the blog before the card arrives)
+ the rabbit graphic was simply inspired by her zodiac year
