this is such a brilliant idea of combining the MOSSLANDA picture ledges and a MDF board into a headboard piece. created by stylist pella hedeby, the perfect minimal appearance with the functionality of storage space behind… this could be the most relatable and convincing IKEA hack project since the floating sideboard idea.

actually her birthday WAS on the 13th, and the card didn’t get mailed until two days passed her birthday (oops). since the card is on its way to taiwan right the moment, i figure this post shouldn’t spoil her surprise. ( which i am also hoping she won’t check the blog before the card arrives)

i usually sent hand-made greeting cards to close friends and family. consider the quantities i need to make this holiday season, the design of cards should be simple and easy to duplicate… and what can be easier than punch a hole and bow-tie with twine? (same twine i used to warp pork loin/bacon!)
and don’t forget to finish the card with brown-paper envelope, seal with mt masking tape, and it will be ready to go!
yes, this simple. happy holiday!
