ever since i posted n is for neon & p is for pastel, i never stop thinking about these ultra chic tea towels designed by super awesome amsterdam-based design duo scholten&baijings. i like how their design approach is always subtle and poetic (unlike the usual conceptual oriented dutch way) yet still maintain the highly defined + geometrical pattern which is very modern-dutch. they start with materials and colors, and then shape/design join together. this simple philosophy can be spotted from their big installation* to everyday objects they’ve created like, tea towels.

now i am facing my (constantly) decision-making moment: which color combination should i go after?
* if you’re one of the michi-ninjas, you probably remember their behind the scene story of a installation for mini in milan design week that i shared on facebook page few months ago. scholten&baijings , the names you don’t want to miss!!
