a saturday afternoon at terrain

a saturday afternoon at terrain

after a gray, gloomy week, we finally are having the gorgeous spring weather again! since we had been looking for some nice sedums but couldn’t find any good ones in the city, we decided to make a trip to terrain. lucky us, there were no traffic like last time (it took us 1.5 hour to get there!!), we got there in like 30 mins. not bad at all.

besides outdoor plants, of course i didn’t forget to spend some time look around their assorted lifestyle collection indoor. this time i found this perfect cotton twine by studio carta – why nobody ever told me there is a place in MA making such lovely twine? the twine is made with 100% cotton (10ply) and made in USA (you know i am fan of buying local-made products). well, i didn’t buy them in store, because i found out there are seven colors available on studio carta’s website!

guess what, i am placing my order of “black and white” and “red and white” as i am posting. can’t wait to have these lovely twines!

i don’t know why we didn’t try it last time, the cappuccino is a-m-a-z-i-n-g-l-y good!! even in to-go up! every sip was filled with aroma and taste… heaven… and the major pleasure to enjoy a cup of cappuccino? the foam art. aren’t these hearts (flower?) adorable. i wish i can have THE cappuccino at least once a week!(and i will be so spoiled)

we brought home with three sedums and two plants(pencil cactus and succulent) for the kitchen area. that’s the problem when you have two designers in one house ( architect and landscape designer architect in this case )…. the home improvement will be a on-going project !
