one of my recent architecture-addictions: tribe studio. australia-based tribe studio architects (tribe) was created in 2003 by founding principal hannah tribe. their works range from private residential design to city-scale subject(sydney 2050). different scales, same methodology to apply to each project: site-specific, and energetic, optimistic, informed and rigorous design approach

no doubt the mentioned philosophy has been sophisticatedly applied to each of their projects… i especially love the consistent high quality they’ve been delivering from types to types. house balalla kavanagh is one of my favorites projects (if not all of them), a renovation and extension to a existing victorian terrace in queens park conservation area in sydney.

the date palm from the neighbor al added a perfect dash of green (and shade) to this little backyard. just lovely!
