it’s no secret that i am a big (& BIG) fan of scandinavian design – from interior to outdoor. this kindergarten in fagerborg, oslo is designed by one of my favorite norwegian architecture firm reiulf ramstad arkitekter (rra). the architecture itself is a result by surrounding context and constrains: located in a small city park, the area is charactered by residential buildings dated 1900-1950. with the cultural heritage guidelines to be considers and requirements from the local authority, architects achieved the “contemporary expression” with no compromise on functionality.
i like especially the entrance is located under this lifted corner, how fun!
