as the weather gets colder and colder, ( i saw snow flakes falling for like 2 minutes when walked home ) the use of wooden & knit materials definitely will help to warm up your home – at least it will warm up your stools!

remember i was just posting about wood stump stool last week? now i found more lovely stool/pouf, with knitted cover!! how could you don’t want them?

the good news : most of those knitted cover can be removed and washed (carefully), so you don’t have to worry about what’s gonna happen in 100 degree summer time…just remove them from the stool :)

this knitted stool is from le souk. the top is made from crocheted raffia…ah, so cute !

if you ever want your room to be more colorful&celebrating… “urchin pouf” , designed by rotterdam-based christien meindertsma will be a perfect choice! though, budget-wise probably will not be that perfect…(the medium size is about $2040… yes… )

she also made a special edition for dwr ( in 2006? )

but sure, we can always make our own, too! click here to see the instruction from apartment therapy. usually i am not a crafty-style lover, but somehow the knitted stools really caught my eyes(and heart). imagine having one knitted stool as bedroom side table. adorable.
hope you enjoy my knitted collection today, stay warm!
